Bereavement
Support Group
The Bereavement Support Group is for parents of children who died from substance overdose.
The group meets on the first Monday of each month from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. via Zoom.
The group has been running since 2013. It is open-ended, and participants range from weeks to years after their child’s passing.
Members feel that the group is often the only space where they can be honest about their grief process, thoughts, and experiences.
If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about the group, contact:

There is no charge for this group.
At the beginning of each group, ribbons are used to help participants identify where they are in their grief process.
Black - represents the deepest place of mourning
Purple - represents moving out into the world again
Green - represents the new normal
Blue - represents anniversary dates
